The pharmacy at the Rof Codina Veterinary University Hospital is has its own medicine distribution and administration service with one differentiating factor: it is an internal service for veterinarians.
Thus, this service has the appropiate authorization s issued by the Regional Councils of Health and of Agriculture. In this way, the needs of the hospital are met, and the practical training part of the course on pharmacology that is offered at the Veterinary Faculty can be directed.
The Pharmacy Service is connected to the Information about Residual Drugs in Food Products, or SIRFA (as the initials indicate in Spanish).
