Collaboration agreement

A group of seven users of the Brain injury Association of Lugo (ADAC), accompanied by staff and volunteers of the Society protective of animals and plants of Lugo, moved to the premises of HVU-RC to start activities contained within the collaboration agreement signed between ADAC Lugo, the Asociación Canina Esmorga, the Protective company of animals of Lugo and this University Veterinary Hospital.

These activities began with a talk on «Canine behavior and communication«, given by the physician of the Hospital veterinarian University Rof Codina, Ángela González, specialist in animal behaviour, who explained attendees various gestures and postures that Canids issue in daily communication with human beings that surround them and other animals.

Un grupo de siete usuarios de la Asociación De Daño Cerebral de Lugo (ADACE), acompañados por personal y voluntarios de la Sociedad Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Lugo, se desplazaron hasta las dependencias del HVU-RC para iniciar las actividades recogidas dentro del convenio de colaboración suscrito entre ADACE Lugo, la Asociación Canina Esmorga, la Sociedad Protectora de Animales de Lugo y este Hospital Veterinario Universitario.

Estas actividades comenzaron con una charla sobre «Comportamiento canino y comunicación«, impartida por la facultativa del Hospital Veterinario Universitario Rof Codina, Ángela González, especialista en comportamiento animal, quien explicó a los asistentes los distintos gestos y posturas que los cánidos emiten en su comunicación cotidiana con los seres humanos que les rodean y con otros animales.
